Ke ‘Marion Monte Jennings was granted his wings to heaven on April 21st, 2024, at the age of seven. Born to the parents of Shlakiesha Jackson and Willie Iva Jennings on November 21st, 2016, at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL.
Mari was a Firey First grader at Reddick Collier Elementary School. He filled our lives with love from the moment he came into this world. Although short, he lived a very memorable life. He was known to all his friends, family, and teachers as an outgoing, humorous, and energetic young boy. There wasn’t much Mari didn’t like to do. He loved swimming, fishing, video games, and playing with his cousins and friends. Those who were touched by him understood the quality of his existence far exceeded the quantity of time in which he lived. With dreams of becoming the next viral YouTube vlogger, he was on his way.
Mari was intelligent, funny, and charismatic to anyone he encountered. Leaving a lasting impression on everyone, everywhere he went. His last moments were spent doing what he loved to do the most; being involved and enjoying the company of his family. There wasn’t a person Mari didn’t meet that he didn’t adore and if he had something to say, that baby was going to say it. He will forever live on within our family and our hearts. Every day we will carry him with us as we continue this journey of life.
Mari is survived by his loving parents, Shlakiesha Jackson (Tony Johnson Jr) and Willie Iva Jennings. His brother, Keandre Pender. His grandparents, Aretha Jackson and George Williams (Chantel Williams). His godparents/Aunt and Uncle, Deonte Jackson and Amber Hays. His aunts, Quintae Nichols (Dexter), and Sanai Brooks. His Uncles George Williams JR., Gevonte Williams, and Germontre Williams and all his Great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
