A new restaurant that serves sliders, fries, and shakes has just opened its first location in Ocala.

Smalls Sliders celebrated its grand opening on Thursday at the Shoppes at Paddock Park with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that was attended by franchisee Doug Cone.

Located at 3394 SW College Road, the new restaurant saw hundreds of customers line up outside its signature “Smorange” cans (shipping containers).

During the grand opening event, the restaurant gave 100 visitors a pair of Smalls Sliders Smorange slides.

The opening comes just over four months since Ocala-News.com first announced Smalls Sliders was opening its first of two locations in Ocala.

Cone, who founded Cone Distributing in Ocala, has signed on to open multiple Smalls Sliders locations in Ocala and surrounding markets.

The restaurant offers a simple menu with sliders, fries, and drinks. The sliders may be purchased in combination meals or in party packs, which come in multiples of 25.

Smalls Sliders in Ocala is open seven days a week, from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
