One of the most famous chefs in the world is expanding one of his most popular brands into Marion County.
Guy Fieri will open his first Chicken Guy in Ocala sometime later this year. Located at 2600 SW 19th Avenue Road, the new restaurant will be situated within Walmart.
The chicken chain’s website indicates the location in Ocala is “hatching soon,” although an exact opening date has not yet been announced.
Chicken Guy! restaurants have been popping up all around the United States and Florida in the past few years.
That includes restaurants in Winter Park and Disney Springs. In recent months, the chain expanded into Wesley Chapel.
In addition to Ocala, Fieri is working on another new location in Davie. That restaurant will also be within a Walmart.
Chicken Guy! sells chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders. Both options come in a variety of flavors and in various combinations.
In addition to its sandwiches and tenders, the restaurant also offers salads, and various sides, including fries, American slaw, fried pickle chips, mac ‘n’ cheese, and shakes.
