A Marion County Sheriff’s Office K-9 deputy is competing against multiple other K-9 deputies across the state to become the Florida Sheriff Association’s Top Dog for 2025.
King, a K-9 deputy with MCSO, is competing in the first round of the FSA’s K-9 March Madness.
Currently, King is pitted against Hooch, a K-9 deputy representing Highlands County Sheriff’s Office.
To vote for King to advance to the second round, visit the K-9 March Madness website. Visitors must vote for each of the matchups.
Last year, K-9 deputy Rex came up just short of the title but was one of four finalists.
