A local business owner has received approval from Belleview officials to install a horse-themed mural on her building, which is situated near a popular intersection in south Marion County.

Judy Trout Realty, which is owned by Judy Trout, received approval for the new horse-themed mural from the Belleview City Commission during its regular meeting on Tuesday, April 1.

The mural will be installed at Trout’s business, which is situated at 4925 SE Abshier Boulevard, near the roadway’s intersection with 110th Street. The mural will be facing that intersection.

The mural will measure approximately 24 feet by 9 feet. It depicts a horse family grazing on a green pasture. According to Trout, it will be painted around a preexisting sign on the building.

A new horse-themed mural will be installed on the side of Trout's business in Belleview.

According to her website, Trout and her children, Jennifer and Jamison, have served the local community’s real estate needs for over two decades.

The approval of the mural comes less than a year after city officials approved the installation of a Belleview-themed mural at the local Checkers (5497 SE Abshier Blvd). That business also installed similar murals at the Checkers locations in Ocala and Leesburg.
