A festival that celebrates the history of Dunnellon will return this weekend with multiple festivities, including cowboy shootouts in the streets and live music.
The Boomtown Days festival will be held on Saturday, April 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in historic downtown Dunnellon.
Additional festivities will include pageants for children of all ages, antique engines and tractors, art show, and crafts, and a kids’ zone.
Throughout the festival, visitors will be able to purchase food, drinks, and other merchandise through a variety of food trucks and vendors.
The festival is free to attend and open to the public.
There will be multiple parking areas available, including Dunnellon City Hall, Dunnellon Middle School, Dunnellon Bingo, Ernie Mills Park, Dunnellon Presbyterian Church, and the city property across the street from the church.
