A developer’s agreement for Belleview’s first Chipotle and Starbucks locations was approved by city officials this week for a site that formerly housed mobile home residents until July 2024, when they were given a week to vacate the premises.
The Belleview City Commission unanimously approved the agreement from One Oak Belleview during its regular meeting on Tuesday, May 6.
The plans call for the construction of a Starbucks and a Chipotle at the site, which is situated at 10366 S Hwy 441 in Belleview.

According to Marion County Property Appraiser records, the 6.96-acre site was sold in February 2023 for $850,000 by Richard Sturgis to Silver Oaks Belleview Hills RV MHC, LLC, a company with a registered address in Tampa.
Then known as Belleview Hills, the property was sold again on July 17, 2024, to One Oak Belleview, LLC, for $2.3 million.

Right after that sale, residents of Belleview Hills were informed that the property had been sold and that they would need to vacate the premises.
During Tuesday’s regular meeting of the Belleview City Commission, city staff gave a brief update on progress being made at the site.
According to city staff, construction has begun at the site and water and sewer lines have been installed.
The Belleview City Commission meets on the first and third Tuesday of every month.
