To the Editor:
Please, stop the growth in Marion County. Please stop advertising that this is a great place to live. The growth is out of control. The county can’t keep up with road management, etc.
Big contractors are mowing down all the trees just to put as many houses as they can on a piece of property. There is no concern for the ecosystem and the wildlife that depend on it.
Are greed and money more important than trying to save what we have left of our beautiful county?
I have been here for 80 years and it makes me sick to see the massive destruction, the influx of rude people, increase in accidents and crime, and the thought we will be another Orlando or worse.
