A new coffee, tea, and snack truck says it is donating a percentage of its profits to organizations and individuals in Marion County’s foster care community.
Brew Hope, LLC, has been serving up drinks in Ocala and Marion County over the past several weeks.
Owned and operated by Carrie Conner, the food truck held an official grand opening celebration on July 4. Conner founded the business with a distinct purpose: To help support the local foster care community.
The company’s creed is “Giving back to foster care, one cup at a time.” Accordingly, ten percent of profits are donated to benefit foster care programs and to offer job training for teens who are aging out of the foster care system.

Brew Hope sells a variety of Conner’s coffee creations and teas, with around two dozen different flavors available.
Additionally, the business sells fresh-squeezed lemonades, “dirty” sodas, and “croffles,” which are a combination of a croissant and waffle.
Loose leaf teas and coffee beans, which are roasted by FirePower Coffee Roasters of Keystone Heights, are also available for purchase.

In just its first month in existence, Conner’s new coffee business has garnered over 1,500 social media followers across its platforms.
As of this week, Brew Hope is open Thursday through Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Although the business currently posts up at 6675 SE Maricamp Road in Silver Springs Shores, Conner says she is still working out the schedule and will be at various pop-up locations soon.
