An employee at a massage business in southwest Ocala was arrested earlier this month after she allegedly offered hand, oral, and vaginal sex to an undercover agent for $120, $150, and $200, respectively.
On July 16, an undercover agent of the Unified Drug Enforcement Strike Team conducted an undercover operation at the New Maple Massage Spa located at 3120 SW 27th Avenue in Ocala.
During the visit to the establishment, the agent, who was outfitted with a remote listening device, made arrangements to receive a massage from 44-year-old Wei Liu. The cost of the massage was $50, according to an arrest affidavit.
At the end of the massage, Liu allegedly asked the agent what the individual wanted, to which the agent inquired about a “hand job.”
According to the affidavit, Liu advised that she would accept $120 for the requested action. She also allegedly state that she would perform oral sex for $150 and vaginal sex for $200.
The agent established probable cause and notified a take down/arrest team through a remote device, which permitted authorities to enter the establishment and place Liu under arrest.
During her arrest, Liu agreed to speak with the agent. The report notes that the agent attempted to use “Google translate,” but Liu did not understand certain questions due to “a language barrier.”
The agent then contacted a certified audio interpreter via telephone and, ultimately, through translation, determined that Liu was attempting to deny that she offered sexual favors in exchange for payment.
Liu was transported to the Marion County Jail. She was released on July 18 after bonding out. She faces a misdemeanor charge of prostitution, first offense. She is next due in court on August 6 at 9 a.m.
