The swimming pools at the city of Ocala’s Hampton Aquatic Center are closed for the season.
Sunday was the final day of the season for the center, which is located at 225 NW Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard in northwest Ocala.
The Jervey Gantt Aquatic Center (2390 SE 36th Avenue) will remain open daily through Friday, August 8. After that, the pools will remain open during the weekends through September 1.
The pools have been open since the last weekend in May.
The cost to visit each facility is $3 per child and $5 per adult.
According to the city, outside coolers, drinks, and food are not permitted at either pool, as concessions are available for purchase.
Last year, both facilities incurred a series of upgrades, including new slides and sunshades.
