A “tiny” art gallery in Ocala that just opened is inviting everyone of all ages to view, take, and share pieces of artwork in a creative and compact space.

The Tiny Art Swap Shop is officially open for business. Located outside of the Art Approach Ocala Creativity Studio, the mini-gallery is a creation of artist and business owner Stacie Rae Pedrick.

The new shop allows visitors to leave their own “mini masterpieces” of artwork, to take a piece of artwork that has been left by another artist, or to simply view the art on display.

Additionally, there are no restrictions on age, talent level, or medium for the artwork.

Pedrick says her goal as an artist is to inspire creativity because she believes it is an essential element to leading a happy life.

“Creating art in a conducive environment can be a powerful tool for personal growth, self-expression, and overall mental wellness,” reads a statement from the Art Approach website.

Pedrick’s Art Approach business offers facilitated, therapeutic art sessions in a tranquil setting for groups and individuals.

Separate from medical treatments, Pedrick’s sessions allow attendees to “express themselves creatively and artistically with a trained administrator,” in a different, non-clinical setting.

Pedrick has been a graphic designer for over 25 years and is classically trained in Fine Arts. She has given hundreds of lectures in the art space and has received multiple Internationally Recognized Certifications in Therapeutic Arts and Creative and Artistic Coaching.
