A new Miller’s Ale House has opened its doors along State Road 200 in southwest Ocala.

The business held a ribbon-cutting ceremony this week at its new establishment, which is situated at 4870 SW College Road.

The new Miller’s Ale House is located next door to Ocala’s first Culver’s, which opened in 2021, and a Bojangles location that has been closed for several months for renovations.

According to the Ocala Metro Chamber and Economic Partnership, the new restaurant will employ approximately 115 individuals. Those individuals will be led by General Manager Ted Lynch, who has been with the company for over 25 years.

During the ribbon-cutting event this week, the restaurant donated $1,000 to benefit West Port High School.

The 7,202-square-foot restaurant holds 224 seats and the parking lot offers 138 spaces.

Construction of the new restaurant began last year. In September 2024, the business received permission from city officials for the sale of alcohol.

There are currently 115 Miller’s Ale House locations across the country, including approximately 73 in the state of Florida. In Ocala, another Miller’s Ale House is located at 305 SE 17th Street, in Churchill Square shopping plaza.

Nearby, Miller’s Ale House opened its first location in The Villages area in late 2019.
