A new Miller’s Ale House that is under construction in southwest Ocala has been taking shape in recent months.
Crews have been working at the site of the new restaurant since it was approved for construction late last year.
The 2.43-acre site is located along SW College Road/State Road 200, adjacent to Ocala’s first Culver’s, which opened in 2021.
The property is owned by Ocala Trophy LTD Partnership, which is based in Boynton Beach. according to Marion County property records.
In September, city officials approved a request from the establishment for a provisional license to sell beer, wine, and liquor.
According to site plans, the 7,202-square-foot restaurant at the site will hold 224 seats and will employ approximately 100 individuals. The parking lot will hold 138 spaces.
There are approximately 114 Miller’s Ale House locations in operation in the country, including around 72 in the state of Florida.
Currently, the city of Ocala has one other Miller’s Ale House at 305 SE 17th Street, in the Churchill Square shopping plaza.
In 2019, Miller’s Ale House opened its first location in The Villages area.
