To the Editor:
It is hard to understand the motivation of Representative Fine (and I use that title in the loosest of possible terms). Is it just blind servitude to the President? If so, he should resign as a “Representative” of the people immediately and apply to be an advisor, cabinet member, or other appointed lackey for Trump.
Does he share the same pre adolescent arrogance (or insanity) as the President in believing because he wants it (regardless of the nonsensical reasons provided for wanting it), he has the right to steal it?
Is he ignorant to the hypocrisy of condemning and proxy fighting Russia for doing exactly the same to the Ukraine, or blustering about China wanting to do the same to Taiwan, as his Act proposes for the U.S. to do to Greenland?
Would he be OK with Russia and/or China deciding to “annex” Florida because it is suddenly strategically important to their interests?
Finally, will he send his kids into the military to serve in the war that will result if the U.S. continues down this path? Didn’t think so, such a commitment doesn’t fit anything in his background.
