I’m glad the proposed food truck in south Marion was denied.

To the Editor:

I was not in support of the food truck park location. Reason being: The site does not support the traffic in the area. The road would have to be widened to support the traffic. The vinyl fence they wanted to substitute for the mason wall was not to code.

The farms in the local area did not want the noise that comes with that kind of traffic.

We have always prided ourselves on having the quiet area and that food truck park would have destroyed that reputation.
