A parcel along a major thoroughfare in Ocala where a Mr. Clean Car Wash opened in 2022 was just sold for over $5 million.

Located at 3020 S Pine Avenue, the car wash was sold by Hutton Ocala FL St, LLC to Swope Properties LLC for $5,076,873 on Monday, April 27, according to a deed filed with the Marion County Clerk of Courts.

Marion County property records show that Hutton Ocala FL St purchased the 1.33-acre parcel for $675,000 in 2020. Construction of the car wash began in 2021.

The building that houses the car wash on the site is approximately 3,408 square feet in size.

Mr. Clean Car Wash opened at the site, which was its first and is still its only location in Ocala, in March 2022.

According to state records, Swope Properties is owned by Patricia G. Swope of Pewee Valley, Kentucky.
