An Ocala family whose dog was snatched up from a local roadway is asking the public for help in locating their canine companion.
Vera and Nicholas Josey say that their dog, Apollo, went missing on April 25 at around 7:10 p.m.
According to the Joseys, Apollo left the fenced yard of their home, which is located along Highway 328, and wandered across the street, next to their neighbor’s fence.

Surveillance video shows that the dog was eventually picked up by a lady in a white vehicle.
The Joseys believe the woman may have thought that the dog was lost or that he belonged to their neighbors.

Over ten days has elapsed since the incident and there have been no updates since then. The Joseys are currently offering a $1,000 reward for the safe return of their dog.

If you have information on the location of Apollo, call or text 352-342-1810.
