A new hair and makeup studio has opened its doors in east Ocala at a longtime location known for the same specialties.
MV Studio hosted a grand opening celebration at its new location at 1012 E Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala on Saturday, May 9. The business officially opened its doors for business on April 14.
MV Studio is owned and operated by Micah Childers, a hair stylist, and Victor Tinti, a makeup artist.
The studio is designed to offer a personalized, one-on-one, luxury experience, according to a statement from the company’s website. Services offered include haircuts, shampoos, blowouts, extensions, and coloring, among others.
Childers brings years of experience to the table, including time at The Boulevard Salon, where he spent years building lasting relationships and honing his craft as a stylist.
Both Childers and Tinti share a special appreciation for the mentorship and support provided by The Boulevard Salon’s owner, Cade Spivey, noting that the foundation built there helped shape the path for their new venture.
The new space features renovations completed by Master Build Construction Group. The studio takes over a space formerly occupied by Merle Norman Cosmetics.
MV Studio joins Blō Hair Lounge, another spa and hair space that also opened its doors recently.
MV Studio is open Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
