A luxury spa and hair lounge has brought new life to a formerly shuttered space in northwest Ocala.
On Wednesday, April 29, Blō Hair Lounge held a ribbon-cutting and grand opening celebration at its new facility, which is located at 3900 NW Blitchton Road in Ocala.
Owned and operated by Brittney Polite, the new business takes a “modern, high-end approach” to the traditional spa experience.
According to its website, Blō offers a luxury head spa experience, featuring blow-dries, extensions, colorings, Moroccan oil scalp reset rituals, and haircuts for men, among many other services.
Blō Hair Lounge is open seven days a week, operating from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the week, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the weekend.
The new business replaces Lotus Massage, which relinquished its license after some of its employees were accused of criminal activity.
