A multi-acre waterfront estate situated on Marion County’s largest lake was just sold for over $1.6 million.
Robert and Michele Reid sold the property to Tom Gonzales and Monique Marie Lise Grenon for $1,605,000 on June 12, according to a deed filed with the Marion County Clerk of Courts.
The sale encompasses four separate parcels that combine to create an expansive 6.03-acre lakeside property. An aerial view of the layout shows the boundaries of the parcels extending directly to the shoreline.

Located in Weirsdale, the property features two primary addresses, with structures located at both 15050 SE 140th Avenue Road and 15055 SE 140th Avenue Road.
The main waterfront estate features more than 215 feet of direct lake frontage on Big Lake Weir. The custom estate includes a main home configured with two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms.

The interior of the primary residence is equipped with a gourmet kitchen and a custom stone fireplace, with large windows providing views of the lake from nearly every room.
The expansive acreage features two separate guest homes on the grounds capable of sleeping an additional 15 visitors.

The exterior amenities include two 2-car garages and a scenic sand path that leads past a smaller outbuilding toward the water.
At the end of the path sits a private two-story boat house extending over the lake, providing direct access to the water.
The second primary address included in the transaction, 15055 SE 140th Avenue Road, features an additional standalone residential structure on the property. According to public records, this secondary home encompasses 1,216 square feet of living space and is configured with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The high-value lakeside transaction marks the latest significant residential purchase in Marion County’s active waterfront real estate scene.
Earlier this month, a nearly 4-acre estate on Marion County’s popular Rainbow River was sold for $1.85 million.
