Cornelia “Connie” Dahlmann Millan, 57 years old, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on June 18,2026 at her home in Ocala.
Connie was born on February 24, 1969, to William “Bill” and Rosemarie “Rosie” Dahlmann in Homestead, Florida. She attended high school in Connecticut. She attended college at the University of Connecticut earning a bachelor’s degree. She attended nursing school in Florida. Connie had been a nurse for 35 years. Most recently she had been a NICU nurse caring for preemie babies for the last two years. Connie’s career as a nurse has brought her all over the US, from Florida, North Carolina, and even to Alaska.
Her favorite hobbies included hiking, and crocheting, especially crocheting something for her preemie patients in the hospital. She also loved caring for her dogs, a German Shepherd and Boxer. Her first language is German, but learned English early in life, and she also taught herself French before a hiking trip. She loved hiking, especially in Europe with Preston. They both have hiked parts of the Appalachian Trail, the Italian, French and Swiss Alps. She lived a full and happy life.
Her memorial service will be held at Roberts of Ocala Downtown Chapel, 606 SW 2nd Ave, Ocala, Florida, from 11am to 1pm EST.
