Marion sheriff’s seeks help in nabbing bandit who robbed milk delivery person

Marion County sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s help in nabbing a thief who robbed a delivery person at gunpoint at a Citra convenience store last year.

Marion County sheriff’s deputies are searching for the man pictured above, who is accused of robbing a milk delivery person at gunpoint at a Citra Circle K store last year.

Deputies say the man pictured above targeted the Circle K, located at 12995 N. U.S. Hwy. 441 at about 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 11, 2020. The man is believed to have arrived at the minimart in the dark four-door vehicle pictured above, a sheriff’s office report states.

The bandit entered the store and attempted to buy a scratch-off lottery ticket. He wasn’t able to cash in the ticket so he robbed a milk delivery person at gunpoint and took his wallet. Once he realized there was no cash in the wallet, he threw it back at the victim and fled south on U.S. Hwy. 441, the report says.
