No injuries were reported after a vehicle’s engine caught on fire at a local Wawa on Wednesday.
Ocala Fire Rescue units (Engine 3, Rescue 3, Tower 1, and Battalion Chief 22) responded to the gas station located at 1001 S Pine Avenue in Ocala.
The units arrived and found a white Jeep that was parked, and its engine compartment was on fire.
Crew members used Engine 3’s pre-connected hose line to extinguish the flames within four minutes.
The Jeep’s driver was outside of the vehicle and was unharmed.
