Sheriff’s office seeks help in identifying couple in failed Wal-Mart heist

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in identifying two suspects who attempted to steal close to $425 worth of merchandise from an Ocala Wal-Mart.

This couple is being sought in connection with an attempted theft at an Ocala Wal-Mart on New Year’s Eve.

The items were taken from the store, located at 9570 SW Highway 200, on New Year’s Eve. When they checked out, they only scanned a few items and then exited the store without paying for the others.
