A Weirsdale woman was jailed recently after being accused of trespassing at a Belleview city building.
Belleview Police officers were called to the city’s Public Works Department building, located at 5525 SE 119th St., early Tuesday morning after receiving reports of someone trespassing at the facility. When they arrived, they located 45-year-old Dana Smith, who apparently had jumped a nearby fence before entering the building, a Belleview Police report states.
Smith was taken into custody and transported to the Marion County Jail, where she was charged with trespassing in an unoccupied structure. She was released Thursday on credit for time served after appearing in Marion County Court.
