James Floyd Volz, 79, of Ocala, FL passed away at his home on December 29, 2020 with his daughter Cindy Alexander by his side. He was born September 18,1941 the son of Helen and Floyd Volz. James was a native of St. Louis Missouri and moved to this area in 2000.
James was a very complex and loving person. He was a very creative person who expressed himself thru nature, cultivating his gardens, he had an amazing “green thumb”, enjoyed the joys of cooking, his love for his horses and cats was enduring. Family and friends always knew his compassion and love. James lived life “His way”.
James is survived by his children Cindy Volz Alexander and Scott Volz, 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by David W. Papendick and granddaughter Victoria Calain Alexander.
A graveside service for James will be held at 2pm on Friday January 8, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5200 Lucas and Hunt Rd., St. Louis, Mo 63121. There will be a zoom link for those wishing to join online for the service.
