Emory was a welder by trade but also was a carpenter, mechanic and could do just about anything. he never graduated high school, but he had a photographic mind. he could tear just about anything apart and put it back together without any instructions. He started his working career at Bray Welding’s.

Then he went on to Crystal River Power Plant and he worked his last 25 years at E-One in Ocala, where he met some of his closest friends. Nutter, Jon, Barry and Mario.

Emory was an avid Fisherman and hunter. he loved fishing the Ocklawaha River speck fishing anywhere there was water and throwing his cast net at Crescent Beach. I know some of his best fishing trips was spent at Matanzas Inlet, there he spent many days and nights fishing from the bridge with some of his brothers. He spent many days hunting the Ocala National Forest with brothers Charles, Ricky and cousin Kenny. I am sure there isn’t a block of woods that he hadn’t walked and a tree that he hasn’t been marked.
