Fiancé wanted by FBI in connection with Gabby Petito’s death, possibly spotted in Marion County

Brian Laundrie, the fiancé wanted in connection with Gabby Petito’s death, was possibly spotted in Marion County earlier this month.

According to TMZ, the organization has obtained footage that purportedly shows Laundrie riding his bike near a home in Dunnellon. The report indicates that the property owner, who was not identified, submitted the surveillance footage to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The video footage shows a man, who resembles Laundrie, riding a bike through a sandy path behind the property owner’s house. The owner says that the path is rarely used and that the man was moving around as if it “lay low,” according to TMZ.

Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito was reported missing in late August during a trip across the United States with Laundrie. Laundrie allegedly drove back from Wyoming to Florida alone, arriving on September 1.

Petito’s body was found on September 19 at the Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming.

A coroner has since determined that Petito’s death was cause by strangulation and that she was killed sometime between August 22 and 29. Laundrie was designated as a person of interest in the case and on September 22, the FBI issued a warrant for his arrest on charges of debit card fraud after he made withdrawals using someone else’s card.
