One person was extricated and trauma-alerted to the hospital following a multi-vehicle crash on State Road 200 on Wednesday morning.
At around 7:35 a.m., Ocala Fire Rescue units (Engine 4, Rescue 4, Squad 7, Battalion Chief 11, and a Safety Officer) responded to an accident that involved multiple vehicles at the intersection of State Road 200 and SW 17th Street.

When the crews arrived at the scene, they observed a three-vehicle collision. A white pickup truck was resting against the driver’s side of a flatbed truck, and an SUV with heavy front-end damage was a few yards away.

According to OFR, both drivers of the trucks were ambulatory. Two minor children were inside the SUV, and the SUV’s driver was trapped inside.
Rescue crews removed both children from the SUV while engine crews helped stabilize the vehicle. With the use of extrication equipment, Engine 4 and Squad 7 crew members removed both driver-side doors, lifted the dash, and removed the driver.

The SUV’s driver was trauma-alerted to a local hospital. One of the minor children was also transported to the same hospital.
No other injuries were reported.
The Ocala Police Department, Marion County Fire Rescue, and Marion County Sheriff’s Office also responded.
The names of everyone involved in the accident were not released.
