A road closure will be in effect on SE 3rd Avenue, between SE 8th Street and SE 10th Street, beginning on Monday, March 21 through Tuesday, April 5.
The closure is due to the utility installation for the Lamplighter Legacy Apartments. This project includes the installation of a potable water main and sewer services, with the inclusion of two manholes.
All necessary devices will be in place to redirect traffic. Construction will take place on Mondays through Fridays, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
During construction times, travelers may experience delays, noise, dust, and heavy equipment within the project area.
Drivers should use the following detour routes:
- Southbound detour: Southbound on SE 3rd Avenue, left turn on SE 8th Street, right turn on Alverez Avenue, right turn on SE 10th Street, back onto SE 3rd Avenue.
- Northbound detour: Northbound on SW 3rd Avenue, right turn on SE 10th Street, left turn on Alverez Avenue, left turn on SE 8th Street, back onto SW 3rd Avenue.
