Marion County students in grades 3 through 8, along with their families, are invited to this year’s STEMCon which is being held virtually on Zoom.
During the two-hour event, which will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, students will explore several topics in the categories of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The educational event will include a cooking show to teach about science, a Stirling engine and programming challenge which will focus on technology, a model rocketry building event to demonstrate engineering, and various math-related activities including treasure quests and trivia, problem solving, and escape games.
