William J. McAuliffe, 90, of Weirsdale, FL passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022.
He was born on November 18, 1931 in New London, NH. He will be missed by his children, Lynne (William), William, and Douglas (Claudia), 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John T. and Bertha P. McAuliffe and brothers John and Thomas.
He served in the USAF during the Korean War. He received a B.S in Civil Engineering from UNH. He had worked at Harvey Construction, retiring as Senior Vice President. He was President of NH-AGC in 1985.
He enjoyed fishing, golf and aviation. He built two airplanes, flying one solo roundtrip to Alaska. He enjoyed building everything from houses and furniture to restoring an antique wooden boat.
Private interment will be at a later date.
