The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation after the body of a deceased man was found on the side of the road in northwest Marion County on Tuesday evening.
At approximately 6:35 p.m., MCSO deputies responded to the 7600 block of NW 77th Terrace, near the intersection of W Highway 326, due to reports that a deceased individual had been observed on the side of the road, according to the sheriff’s office.
Upon arrival, deputies located the body of a deceased adult man. In a social media post, MCSO stated that the man’s death appears “suspicious.”
MCSO Major Crimes detectives arrived on scene and are actively conducting an investigation to determine the man’s cause of death. No further details were provided by the sheriff’s office as the investigation is ongoing.
