Troopers looking for semi-truck tire slasher, potential suspect caught on camera

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a series of criminal mischief incidents after tires were intentionally slashed on multiple semi-trucks in Columbia County.

According to FHP, these incidents occurred during nighttime hours while semi-trucks were parked overnight at various entrances and exit ramps of Interstate 75 at the U.S. 90, State Road 47, and U.S. 41/441 exits. In addition, at least one incident also occurred on Interstate 10 in Columbia County.

FHP stated that there have been six separate incidents where the suspect has used an unknown object to puncture the tires on the vehicle and/or trailer.

One victim provided FHP investigators with the following surveillance images of a potential suspect (see below) who is described as a young adult white male.
