Two wanted for burglarizing vehicles in Marion County

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two individuals who allegedly burglarized multiple vehicles in Fort McCoy.

On Monday, July 10, an MCSO deputy responded to the 14900 block of NE 110th Court Road in Fort McCoy in reference to vehicles that were burglarized in the area. Upon arrival, the deputy discovered that seven unlocked vehicles in the area had been entered, according to a social media post from the sheriff’s office.

MCSO stated that purses, wallets, a smartwatch, jewelry, and debit cards were stolen from the vehicles. A detective investigated the burglary incidents and learned that someone had used two of the stolen debit cards on multiple occasions. The owner of the stolen cards told investigators that she noticed unauthorized activity on the cards a few hours after the burglaries had occurred.

The detective determined that the stolen debit cards were used at Kwik King (9520 NE Jacksonville Road in Anthony) for $36.50, and they were also used at Diamond Oil (6980 NE Jacksonville Road in Ocala) for $114.03. In addition, two transactions were attempted at Dollar General (6905 NE Jacksonville Road in Ocala), but they were declined due to the victim deactivating the debit cards.

After reviewing video surveillance footage from the businesses where the stolen debit cards were used, the detective obtained photos (see below) of the two suspects and the vehicle they were traveling in.
