A new restaurant serving a variety of sweet and savory dishes and baked goods will celebrate its grand opening this weekend.
Sweet and Savory Eats will celebrate its grand opening at 1410 E Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala on Saturday, August 12.
The business has currently been operating under a soft opening, with its first scheduled health inspection with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation set for Friday.
Owned and operated by Cardovia and Randy Jackson, the business has been working for several months to prepare its new site, which is located across the street from Renasant Bank.
The business will sell multiple savory options, including ground beef smash burgers, Philly cheesesteaks, wings, and fried seafood.
In addition to its savory menu, sweets include pound cakes, donuts, pies, cheesecakes, and whole cakes, among others.
The business will be open Monday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
