Ocala siblings accused of incest, sexually battering 7-year-old child

An Ocala brother and sister were arrested by local police after they were accused of engaging in consensual sex in the presence of children and sexually abusing a 7-year-old child.

This summer, an Ocala Police Department officer received a report from individuals that a woman, identified as Samantha Lyne Tober, had allegedly sent nude images of a seven-year-old child and made verbal statements that she had sexually abused the child.

According to OPD, the report also alleged that Tober often has sexual intercourse with her biological brother, identified as Leonard Charles Tober, Jr.

An OPD detective, along with the Florida Department of Children and Families, investigated the claims against both siblings. The detective made contact with Samantha, conducted an interview, and received consent to search her phone. OPD stated that nude images were found on her phone, which were determined to be “child erotica.”

The detective’s investigation into the siblings uncovered multiple videos of Samantha and her brother, Leonard, having consensual sex.

A follow-up interview was conducted with both siblings, and it was determined that two child victims were present during the incestuous acts. Additional evidence was also obtained, which allegedly revealed that Samantha had committed a sexual crime on a child, according to OPD.

On Monday, August 21, the Tober siblings were arrested and transported to Marion County Jail. They are both facing a dozen felony charges for lewd or lascivious exhibition (six counts) and incest (six counts). In addition, Samantha is facing a felony charge for sexual battery on a child under 12 years of age.

Both siblings are scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, September 26, according to jail records.
