One person was trauma alerted to a local hospital on Monday morning following a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Ocala.
At approximately 7 a.m., units from Ocala Fire Rescue and Marion County Fire Rescue responded to the intersection of SE 19th Avenue and SE 31st Street due to reports of an accident. Upon arrival, crew members observed a blue SUV and white pickup truck that had sustained damage from the collision.


One person involved in the accident was transported to the hospital as a trauma alert, and three others – including two children – were medically evaluated as a precaution, according to Ocala Fire Rescue.
There were no other injuries reported.
The crash temporarily blocked all westbound lanes of SE 31st Street during the morning commute.
