Louise S. Gill

Our wonderful mother, 102, Louise Stocks Gill passed away Wednesday November 22, 2023.
Born July 6, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of August and Geraldine Stocks.
She is predeceased by her late husband Thomas Trevor Gill and is survived by her three children Marie Sturgill and her husband Phil of Ocala, FL, Patricia Ney and her husband Ron of Leesburg, FL and Thomas Gill and his wife Cindy of Belle Isle, FL. Also surviving are her six grandchildren including Robert, Stephen, Thomas, Lisa, Patrick, Kara and twelve great grandchildren.
Louise was a kind and compassionate mother devoted to her family and to her church. A devout Catholic, she lived her life following God’s way and treated everyone with respect and love. She will always be remembered by her children as a kind and loving mother who raised three children as a single mother and provided them with all the love and attention any child could ask for. Through her devotion and love, her children have a lifetime of childhood memories to cherish forever.
A funeral and mass is scheduled at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Belleview, FL on Saturday, December 16, 2023, time TBD. A reception for family and friends will follow in the church’s reception hall and interment will be at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memory Gardens in Ocala.
