A local restaurant that specializes in authentic Cuban cuisine is hiring employees and gearing up for an official grand opening after months of renovations.
Latin American Cafe is currently hiring full and part-time positions for its newly renovated location at 2714 NE 14th Street.
The restaurant has been operating with a reduced schedule as it “soft opens,” and is working towards an official grand opening “soon,” according to its social media.
“We are aiming at staying open in the evenings, accompanied with some live entertainment. We will be starting with Fridays & Saturdays, also to be announced soon,” reads a statement posted on social media by the restaurant on December 8.
Latin American Cafe is no stranger to change, having continually grown over the years, including a move from its previous location at 1427 NE 25h Avenue to its current home in Oakbrook Plaza.
The restaurant serves a collection of authentic Cuban dishes for breakfast and lunch. That includes multiple sandwiches and meal combinations with classics like ropa vieja (shredded beef) and picadillo (ground beef), among others.
