Marion Oaks residents can expect smoke in the area on Friday due to a live training burn that is being conducted by Marion County firefighters.
According to Marion County Fire Rescue, the intentional blaze was ignited inside a home located in the 500 block of Marion Oaks Manor.
Since the single-family home is set for destruction, MCFR crews are using the opportunity to conduct training burns at the residence throughout the day.
MCFR stated on social media that the live training will end once the structure has been “burned to the ground.”
