Carol Louise Seuntjens
March 13, 1937 – February 8, 2024
Carol Louise Seuntjens, 86, of Ocala, FL, went home to be with her Lord on February 8th, 2024, in the care of her granddaughters.
Carol was born in Isanti, MN, on March 13th, 1937. She married her first husband, Alvin Hintze, in 1956, and together they started a family, having their only child together, Kathleen. Following Alvin’s passing, Carol met James Seuntjens, and they married in 1972, blending their families and embarking on countless adventures together. Carol worked in insurance for many years before retiring at 50 and moving to Florida. Her retirement years were filled with travel, crafting, quilting, and managing antique stores. Carol’s life was marked by her creativity, resilience, and dedication to her family and friends.
Carol is survived by her children: Kathleen Letellier, Debra Greer (Alan), Rodney Seuntjens, Rene Seuntjens, David Seuntjens (Dawn); ten grandchildren, Becky, Eric, Jacob, Hunter, Samantha, Raleigh, Bradley, Bryce, Emily, and Harrison; four great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Mary and Ruthie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hildur Swanson and Ernest Anderson; brothers, Peter and Paul; and her late husbands, Alvin and James.
The funeral service will be held at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 3453 E Silver Springs Blvd Ocala, FL 34470 on February 17th, 2024, at 10 am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens the same day.
