A half-marathon and 5K trail runs at Silver Springs State Park are at capacity, but those interested in participating may still do so virtually.
The runs will start on Saturday, April 6, at 7:30 a.m. for the half marathon and 7:45 a.m. for the 5K. They will both last until 11:30 a.m. at the park, which is located at 5656 E Silver Springs Blvd.
The half-marathon trail run will be 13.1 miles, and the 5K trail run is 3.1 miles. The loop course is on the scenic trails of Silver Springs. Runners will receive a commemorative shirt, unique finisher medal, colorful patch, a well-marked course, chip timing with awards, post-race food, and drinks.
Currently, both the half-marathon and 5K runs are at capacity. The virtual run is available for $45.
