A Georgia-based drive-thru coffee chain that is currently expanding its operations in the state of Florida has announced plans to open a new location in Ocala.
Red Owl Coffee Company hopes to begin construction on a new site in Ocala by the end of this year, according to construction database records.
Records show that the Ocala location for the company is still being planned and that the address and scope for the project have not yet been determined.
Founded in Valdosta, Georgia in 2016, Red Owl Coffee Company has locations all across Georgia, with several more planned for that state.
Records show that Dagen Anderson, the owner of the planned Ocala franchise, owns and operates D&D Cleaning Service in Valdosta. Anderson also owns a Red Owl Coffee Company in Jacksonville, which celebrated its grand opening last week.
Red Owl Coffee Company’s menu features a variety of espresso and daily brewed drinks, as well as “hoot energy,” which is the company’s signature caffeinated drink that includes B12 and natural sugars.
For those looking for alternatives to coffee, the business also offers teas, smoothies, milkshakes, and hot cocoa.
