A drive-thru coffee brand that expanded into Marion County earlier this year is currently working on its second location in the area.
Construction is underway on a new Ellianos Coffee located at 11572 N Williams Street in Dunnellon.
“We are looking forward to serving the community with premium beverages and food items,” reads a company social media post.
According to state records, the new location is owned by SMA Pursuit, LLC, which is registered to Michael and Alissa Stewart of Lake City. That company also owns franchises in Clay and Duval county, according to state records.
The Dunnellon location is one of four planned for Marion County.
There are currently plans to build locations at 4359 SE Maricamp Road in Ocala and 13 West Noble Avenue in Williston, according to the company’s website.
Ellianos Coffee’s Belleview location is owned by Emery Abshier, whose family has a long history in Belleview. That spot, which opened its doors in February, is located along the roadway that derives its name from Abshier’s family (6147 SE Abshier Boulevard).
Just outside of Marion County, there are Ellianos locations in Lake County and Alachua County as well.
The company’s local expansion mirrors its expansion across the state and country. The coffee brand has expanded its brand throughout Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.
Ellianos serves espresso-based beverages, latte freezers, smoothies, and breakfast foods.
