The Watula South townhomes have been under construction in downtown Ocala for over two years. The project is one of several in downtown Ocala developed by the Boyd Group.

According to online listings, multiple units are currently for sale at the development, which is located along SE Watula Avenue, across from Ocala City Hall.

Although units vary in size, each comes with at least three bedrooms and three bathrooms, as well as a 2-car garage.

The interiors feature multiple luxury upgrades, including a kitchen with large countertops and custom cabinetry, open layouts, custom closets, and modern fixtures.

The townhome units share a courtyard and also feature outdoor patios that are positioned over their respective garages.

Real estate records show that some of the units were listed for sale this past January.

The listing for 145 SE Watula Avenue shows that the townhome is 2,250 square feet in size and features 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The asking price for that unit is $837,555.

With its addition, Watula South contributes to a constantly evolving state of affairs in downtown Ocala, with multiple residential and commercial real estate projects in various stages of development in the area.

Brick City Lofts and Shops, which was first approved by city officials in 2021, recently broke ground at its site along SE 1st Avenue. That development is hoping to open this Summer.

The Lamplighter Legacy Apartment complex, which was first approved in 2021, recently celebrated its grand opening in downtown.

Last December, Mellow Mushroom opened its doors just over four years after the business first announced plans to open a location in downtown Ocala.

Last summer, District Bar and Kitchen celebrated its grand opening at the former location of Pi on Broadway, which was demolished to make way for the new restaurant.
