Stephanie Green

Stephanie Nicole Green, 42, of Ocala, Florida, went home on April 16, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Stephanie was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia to Nancy Green and Jeffery Jay Morris on January 11, 1982. She graduated from Lake Weir High School in 2000. While she worked in numerous fields over the years, she is best known for her position as a subcontractor for the U.S. Postal Service in The Village of Fenney. A woman of many talents, she enjoyed crafting, baking, hosting, travelling & fitness.

Stephanie has been a source of sunshine, unconditional love and joy to all who crossed her path. Although she had no children of her own, she played an integral part in raising her nephews & nieces. “Aunt Nie”, as she’s been lovingly named, has been the extra mom to many, a safe space for all , our fierce protector & the Northern star to which her siblings look for guidance. Stephanie Nicole was the friend everyone needs, seeing past your flaws and highlighting your strengths. Her steadfast determination, perseverance and grace is already so greatly missed but she left a piece of her with each one of us.

Stephanie is survived by her mom, Nancy Green of Ocala. Her bonus parents, Patrick & Diane Maher of Ocala. Siblings Steven & Krysta Morris (Kayson & Saylor), Heather Maher & Luke Banach (Lilly, Anthony, Preston &Summer), Patrick Maher (Jake), Clayton Maher (Jacen & Scarlette) and Katelynn Resto. Bonus siblings, Christoper Adair & Jennifer Adair (Athena). Aunts and Uncles, Chet & Joann Green, Jack & Gloria Green, Patricia & Doug Bandura, Todd Morris. Numerous cousins, bonus nieces/nephews & friends who have become family.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jeffery Jay Morris, grandparents, Robert & Yvonne Green, Lonnie & Adaline Morris. Aunt Tammy Morris, Uncle Bub (Lonnie) Morris & niece Aleida Maher.

The family would like to thank each & every one of you who have supported our Nie in any way over the past few years. We are grateful for the outpouring of love & support from so many. A Celebration of Life is in the works for a later date & will be announced in the coming weeks. While we know our world is a bit dimmer today, our wish is that you honor her legacy by living & loving as she would – full of grace, understanding, love and kindness. In this way, we can ensure that the sparkle that was Stephanie Nicole Green continues.
