While construction of a new storage facility in south Marion County nears completion, another facility is planned for a different site a few miles south.
FreeUp Storage is in the final stages of construction on its new facility located at 9774 U.S. Hwy 441 in Belleview. It is situated next to the new My Car Wash, which opened in Belleview last October.
According to the company, the storage facility will open sometime this Summer. The business is currently accepting reservations for summer move-ins.
The new temperature-controlled facility will feature units as small as 5’x5′ and as large as 10’x30′, video surveillance, and online bill pay.
When it opens, the new FreeUp Storage will be open seven days a week, with access hours set between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. Office hours will start at 10 a.m. every day, ending at 6 p.m. on weekdays and 4 p.m. on weekends.
Currently, there are at least five other self storage facilities in Belleview, including three Public Storage locations.
FreeUp Storage joins several other similar businesses in various stages of construction all across Marion County.
That includes Belleview Self Storage, which is planned for a site next to the Market of Marion, just under five miles from the new FreeUp Storage.
In both east and southwest Ocala, two additional self storage facilities are nearing completion.
