A family who has made a name for itself in the Arabian and Saddlebred show horse industries has just sold a 100-acre horse farm within Ocala’s Farmland Preservation Area for $6.4 million.

According to a deed filed with the Marion County Clerk of Courts, the property at 11959 NW Hwy 464B in Ocala was sold by Yellowstone Ranch, LLC to Dos Madres, LLC, for $6,400,000 on November 26.

State corporate records show that Yellowstone Ranch, LLC, is registered to Timothy and Tiffiny Barta, who own Barta Show Horses. Dos Madres, LLC, is registered to Vicki Loges.

According to a listing by Ocala Horse Properties, LLC, the real estate firm that brokered the sale, the property is filled with “mature oaks” and “lush green rolling pastures.”
